Sensei Millard was requested to do a self defense lecture for a local company.
The employees and office staff learned a great deal about personal protection during the 1 hour lecture.

Sensei Millard along with Sensei Telfer and Sensei Park were at GM "Yogi" Israel Segerra's
Summer camp held in Whitefish falls Ontario this weekend. Over the 2 days seminars were
held by senior instrutors from all over ontario including Sensei Millard, Sensei Angelo Egizii Sensei Gino Egizii and Sensei Perry from Whitefish Falls.
GM Segerra and Sensei Alice lead the Morning rituals and gave talks and instruction throughout the weekend.
Everyone participated and had a great time. It was a weekend of Brotherhood and learning.
We thank GM Segerra and Sensei Alice for inviting us and being such wonderful hosts.

Canadian Martial Arts Center student Sensei Ryan Telfer competed this weekend for a slot on Team Canada. The team will comptete at the World Championships
being held this year in Atlantic City. The Team Canada tryouts were held this weekend in St Cathrins Ontario.
Ryan did well at the competition taking:
1st in Stick fighting
2nd Place Forms
3rd Place Sparring
As a result Ryan will be representing Canada at the worlds in the Mens division.
Way to go Sensei Ryan!

The childrens classes have started up again. There has been an amazing response from the
parents and kids. Classes are filling fast and we are having to add additional classes.

One more stop has been added on the Summer Seminar tour.
Sensei Millard will be teaching a groundfighting seminar in Pitsburgh
being hosted by Master Jack Buckley in June. Exact date TBA.
