October 24th 2004
Sensei Millard was in Orlando Florida for the World Head of Family Sokeship Council
Hall of Fame. Sensei Millard did a seminar for the council on reversals to armlocks.
It was a fun trip that was almost not made as the devistation from the Hurricanes
had cancelled the original date in September.
There was still a lot of Damage in Florida and many of Sensei Millards friends in that
area were still cleaning up. Next year we are looking forward to a hurricane free event :-)

Sensei Millard was invited to Ohio to help judge the fall Millenium
tournament.
July 8th 2004
Gradings were held today for two advanced underbelts. Students Lesa Park and Leo Haire
went through a rigorous grading and were awarded their Brown Belts.
Great Job!

Once again the Canadian Martial Arts Center made a showing at the Ohio Invitationals.
There was a lot of good compitition this year.
Lesa Park and Ryan Telfer were awarded the Division Champion Trophies for 2003.
Lesa Took top honors for the Womens Adult Advanced Division and Ryan for Adult Mens.
Lesa took first place in Womens advanced sparring and another first in Self Defence.
Three hard fought matches. A job well Done!
Ryan took first in Intermediate Adult Mens sparring, Second in Self Defense, First in
Kata and Third in Weapons. Ryan's first match took less that 30 seconds! A 3-0 shutout with
not a glove laid on him.
Ryan performed a GoJu Kata. Everyone was impressed with his
intensity and form.
