Sensei Aubrey Millard.
Mi De Long This is my Chinese name given to me when I was in China. It means Virtuous Dragon.
Sensei Millard has been in the Martial Arts for over 25 Years. In that time he has learned a great deal
and enjoys being able to share that knowledge with his students.
Sensei Millard started his training in the Martial arts in 1974 at the age of 10 learning Goju Karate in Northern
Ontario. As a teenager going to school in a heavily Chinese populated area in Toronto Mr. Millard was then
introduced to Kung Fu by David Lee who he trained with for many years.
Sensei Millard attended seminars and competitions in the USA and Canada gaining a wide variety of knowledge of different styles.
Mr Millard continued his training and teaching in different styles of Kung Fu until he joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1982.
From 82 to 86 while in the military Sensei Millard continued his training in Kung Fu and Karate with several schools in Canada and Germany.
Once out of the Mlitary, he continued training and teaching Karate and started learning Kendo. In 1989 he took a break
from physical training,He felt that there was more to the Martial Arts than forms and sparring. Dejected he gave up training in
schools for several years.
Through the early 1990's Sensei Millard was on a spiritual quest concentrating on philosophy and knowledge. This path eventually led him
to the city of Kitchener where he resides today.In the late 90's Sensei Millard started training in an art called "Seicho Jutsu".
In 1998 Sensei Millard again started teaching privatly.
In 2000 he opened a new school in downtown Kitchener.
In 2001 the school was moved to it's current location in Kitchener.
Currently Sensei Millard is the head instructor and owner of the Canadain Martial Arts Center in Kitchener Ontario Canada.
Sensei Millard travels all over the USA, Canada and Asia promoting the Martial Arts.
The CMAC has trained competitors who have won championships in Canada and the USA.
Sensei Millard continues teaching and training at the CMAC in Kitchener.
